Xubuntu development team announced that the next version of Xubuntu 11.04 Natty will contain gMusicBrowser instead of Exaile.
There are many reasons for this change, Exaile has a lot of bugs and very slow with a large library.
gMusicBrowser amazing music player comes with lots of layouts and probably will use the Shimmer interface by default.
gMusicBrowser is not yet default in Xubuntu, but it can be installed by using the Shimmer PPA. Instructions:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shimmerproject/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gmusicbrowser
