Make your pc talk with notepad!

You can make your computer talk with notepad to do this:

Open a text file in notepad and write

Dim msg, sapi
msg=InputBox("Enter your text","Talk it")
Set sapi=CreateObject("sapi.spvoice")
sapi.Speak msg

Save the file with a (*.vbs) extension, it will create a VBScript File.
It will prompt you for a text when you open the file, input the text and press ok.

You will hear what you typed

this works in xp, may be in vista also.
