The problem is that often the terminal is frozen and will not allow you to insert text , then there was no other choice but to reboot the system. To solve this, open the terminal in text mode by pressing: Ctrl + Alt + F1
And type:
DISPLAY =: 0.0 compiz - replace
Now return to the graphical mode Crtl + Alt + F7 and you should be able to write, because the desktop manager has been restarted. If some components have not been initiated, such as Unity bar, then execute Ctrl + Alt + T and the type:
