Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 users can upgrade to Mozilla Firefox 4 the latest release, just by adding the Firefox Stable PPA to their system sources.
This step is very easy, launch Ubuntu Software Center, click Edit > Software Sources and click the ‘Other Software’ tab. click ‘Add’ and then paste ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable.
You will be prompted to update your sources. After that you can head to System > Administration > Update Manager to perform an upgrade.
Alternatively you can add the PPA by using the commands below:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firefox ubufox
