Install Windows xp or vista from USB Flash drive

If you want install Windows xp or Vista from Flash Drive without any programs do next:

1. Format USB flash memory drive to FAT32 file system

2. Run CMD.exe START -> Run -> CMD.exe

NOTE: This set of commands assumes that the USB flash drive is adressed as "disk 1" if you not sure type in CMD "list disk"

3. type next commands:

diskpart
select disk (the number of the USB flash memory)
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=fat32
assign
exit

NOTE: now is USB flash memory prepared for boot mode and you just need to copy files from cd to usb

Now insert your Vindows xp or Vista cd in your CD/DVD-DRIVE

4. In CMD type next:

d:\*.* s/e/f e:/

d: - is the CD-ROM drive and e: - is the USB flash memory
Go to My computer and chek if your's drive letters are same, if they are different you must type letters from your computer!

You must change in your BIOS that computer first boot from USB.
